Bucket List minus 1

Last night I did Number 8.
Kendle and I went to Cravin' Chicago Wings at 7:00 at night. I was running on 4 and a half hours of sleep, but I had things to cross of my list, so I powered through it.
It helped that I ate the hottest wings ever, topped with raw hot peppers, and downed about 1/2 a liter of Coke by myself.
Anyways...yes, we went to a place, watched the North American Star League Season 2 finals on a projector in a room with about 60 other people all cheering on the players.
They also gave out thunderstix. Which is what they use to make lots of noise and cheer on player AT the actual event. These were official NASL thunderstix...not some cheap knock off. They had one for each race in the game, but Kendle insisted that we get the purple ones. So purple ones we got.
So you bang them together, and it's like a drum. And if enough people do it, it sounds like thunder. The kid across from us (who was studying for a spanish final) was REALLY into it. Every time the crowd started banging their stix together, he was like...SMASHING his together, and he got this like...wild look in his eyes. It was a little unnerving.
We also met some pretty chill people, and some turbo nerds, and some people who just wanted a late night snack and had no idea what they had walked in on. It was nice to be able to talk about Husky, Day[9], and Hero, and have people understand what I as talking about. I was actually able to say things like "Oh man, that split was SICK" rather than "See, he split all his marines up so the splash damage from the incoming banelings didn't hit all his units."
...and then I have to explain banelings and splash damage.
All in all it was pretty fun, and I hope next time I've had a little more sleep so I can stay till the end.
oh and PS....
Best wife ever? Yup.
